Cumberland’s Sarah Russell, 45, recently won her age group at the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Canada. Russell completed the 70.3 mile endurance event, which consists of a 1.2-mile swim, a 56-mile bike ride followed by a 13.1-mile run, in four hours, 50 minutes and 18 seconds to win the world championship in the female 45-49 age group.
