CUMBERLAND — The town will hold its 37th annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony Sunday, Nov. 27.
The Cumberland Band kicks things off at 4 p.m. with a concert in the sanctuary of the Cumberland Congregational Church, 282 Main St., which is followed by a community Christmas carol singalong led by the Greely High School Madrigals on the church’s front steps.
Santa is to arrive by fire engine at 5:30 p.m. to light the tree. Refreshments, craft making, and a meet-and-greet with Santa take place afterward in the church’s parish hall.
