CUMBERLAND — An open house will be held at the Greely High School pool on Saturday, Feb. 11, to promote Swim for your Heart Day.

Ian Crocker, four-time Olympic medalist from Portland, and Pat-Gallant Charette, grandmother and marathon swimmer from Westbrook who swam the English Channel last August, will be at the pool from 10:30-11:30 a.m. for a meet-and-greet session.

Free open swim will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. People can also learn about the Greely pool’s offerings: lessons, open swims, lap swims and swim teams, along with new programming.

On Swim for Your Heart Day, to be held Tuesday, Feb. 14, representatives of the Maine Heart Center will be at the pool from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Blood-pressure screening will be available all day.
