CUMBERLAND — Two residents were indicted this month on repeat charges of operating under the influence.
Thomas Natalie, 45, of Tuttle Road, and Timothy Richards, 29, of Blackstrap Road, were each arrested in separate March incidents by Cumberland police on felony charges of OUI. According to the Cumberland County district attorney’s office, both men had two prior OUIs. Both were indicted on OUI and other charges this month by a Cumberland County grand jury.
In addition to the OUI charge, Natalie was indicted on charges of violations of license restrictions and conditions of release. Richards was indicted on the additional charges of refusing to submit to arrest and violation of license restrictions.
An indictment is not a finding of guilt, but rather a decision that enough evidence exists to prosecute.
