WINDHAM — The Cumberland County Regional Communications Center seeks volunteers to join its 9-1-1 Team.
The 9-1-1 Team is a volunteer group of trained, elderly assurance members. Those members volunteer to report to the Windham-based communications center one day a month for two to three hours to make assurance calls to senior citizens in the communities the center serves.
People interested in joining can call 9-1-1 Team Coordinator Julie Poland at 893-2810 or e-mail poland@cumberlandcounty.org.
