PORTLAND — The renovated Cumberland County Civic Center will be open to the public from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, March 22, in an event featuring tours, performances by high school bands, and an appearance by Portland Pirates mascot Salty Pete.

The tour will highlight new and expanded areas of the building. There will also be face painting, balloon artists and performances by circus arts students from the Merriconeag Waldorf School.
