CUMBERLAND — The Town Council on Monday unanimously authorized a lease/purchase agreement for a new plow truck.
The agreement, with Gorham Leasing, is for a 2011 International 7400 Series truck, which will replace a model from 1992. The cost is nearly $164,000 and is included in the fiscal 2011 budget.
The council also unanimously approved a $250 flat fee for staff review of small site plans. The council recently authorized the process as an alternative to the more in-depth and expensive reviews required for larger projects, as a means of assisting smaller businesses.
