BRUNSWICK — Craig Burton Gilliam, 39, died Dec. 20 at his residence.

On Jan. 19, 1971, he was born in Brunswick, the son of Burton A. “Burt” and Nicola A. “Nikki” (White) Gilliam, and attended Brunswick schools.

After he graduated from Brunswick High School in 1989, he attended New Hampshire College.

He worked as a network administrator for Bath Iron Works, the Federal Court House, and most recently for CACI – Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.

An avid sports fan, he loved playing golf, watching basketball or football on television, and was looking forward to playing hockey with his nephew Logan.  

He also loved the ocean and boating.

Surviving are his parents Burt and Nikki of Brunswick; his sister, Kimberly Gilliam Orr and her husband, Steve and his nephew, Logan Orr, all of Westbrook; his maternal grandmother, Muriel White; several aunts and uncles; many cousins; and his golfing buddies.

Memorial services were held last week.

Arrangements are by Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal St., Brunswick.
