Last week’s story and an accompanying editorial about the appointment of Jerald McQueeney to the District 3 seat on the South Portland School Board should have said that Ralph Baxter Jr. and Karen Callaghan were elected to at-large seats in 2007, following the resignations of two board members. They were not appointed by the City Council.
