Arrests

9/5 at 2:47 p.m. Jami Katherine Dixon, 20, of Scarborough, was arrested on Ocean Street by Officer Theodore Sargent on charges of aggravated assault, domestic violence assault and violation of conditional release. 

9/5 at 6:05 p.m. Michelle Joyce, 30, of Biddeford, was arrested on Philbrook Avenue by Officer Christopher Todd on charges of theft by unauthorized taking and violating a condition of release. 

9/6 at 1:29 a.m. Desiree Currier, 25, was arrested on Lowell Street by Officer Kevin Sager on a charge of domestic violence assault. 

9/6 at 11:09 p.m. Donald Hartford, 37, was arrested on Broadway by Officer Kevin Sager on a charge of domestic violence assault.

9/8 at 12:39 a.m. Richard Gosselin, 19, of Saco, was arrested on Main Street by Officer Thomas Simonds on a charge of operating under the influence.

9/6 at 8:55 a.m. Joshua Nowlin, 28, of Portland, was summonsed on Gorham Road by Officer Steven Connors on charges of operating after suspension and leaving the scene of an accident. 

9/6 at 1 p.m. Gwendolyn Wheeler, 20, of Fryeburg, was summonsed on Maine Mall Road by Officer Steven Connors on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking.

9/8 at 7:40 a.m. Sarah Norton, 28, was summonsed on Ocean Street by Officer Kevin Sager on a charge of operating after suspension. 

9/8 at 4:31 p.m. Toan Ha, 34, was summonsed on Highland Avenue by Officer Frank Stepnick on a charge of operating after suspension. 

9/9 at 3:22 a.m. Herman John Byram, 44, of Westbrook, was summonsed on Summit Street by Officer Jeff Levesque on charges of possession of scheduled drugs and endangering the welfare of a child.

9/9 at 6:50 a.m. Michelle Southard, 22, of Buxton, was summonsed on Broadway by Officer Brian McCarthy on a charge of operating after suspension.

9/11 at 11:08 a.m. A 14-year-old and a 16-year-old were summonsed on Broadway by Officer Theodore Sargent on charges of possession of marijuana. 

A spurned love

9/5 at 2:40 p.m. Police were called to Thomas Knight Park for a bicyclist reportedly struck by a vehicle. The male victim told police that his ex-girlfriend, Jami Dixon, 20, of Scarborough, intentionally ran him down while he was biking along Waterman Drive. As he tried to call 911, Dixon got out of her car and allegedly assaulted him in an attempt to get his cell phone. Dixon was arrested on charges of aggravated assault, domestic violence assault and violation of bail conditions.

More road rage

9/6 at 8:55 a.m. Officers were called to the Wright Express parking lot off Gorham Road for a report of an incident of road rage that resulted in a hit-and-run. Police said that, after some exchanges between the drivers, the suspect allegedly passed the victim's vehicle and then slammed on the breaks, causing the victim to strike the suspect's PT Cruiser. The suspect reportedly drove towards the Maine Mall, but the victim was able to get a partial plate number. After investigating, Officer Steven Connors arrested Joshua Nowlin, 28, of Portland, on charges of operating after suspension and leaving the scene of an accident.
