10/16 at 1:30 a.m. Meghan Stewart, 25, of South Portland, was arrested on Sawyer Street by Officer Jake Hall on charges of theft of services and violating condition of release.

The helper needs help

10/20 at 7:53 p.m. Officer Benjamin Macisso was called to the Maine Mall for a shoplifter apprehension and arrested Michael Kimball, 19, of Brownfield, on a charge of theft. As Macisso was leaving the mall, one of Kimball's friends tried to help him and refused to leave the mall. Daniel Munro, 18, of South Portland, was arrested for criminal trespass and refusing to submit to arrest.

10/21 at 8:44 a.m. Officer John Bostwick responded to a vandalism complaint on Wescott Road, where a 14-year-old boy, of South Portland, was reportedly writing on a vehicle with a marker. The boy was summonsed on a charge of criminal mischief and released to his mom.
