SMCC hoops teams fall on the road
The Southern Maine Community College men's and women's basketball teams suffered losses at Dean College last weekend. The men fell to 1-2 on the year after a 93-67 setback. The women are 0-1 after a 63-58 loss.
Maine Baseball Hall of Fame taking nominations
The Maine Baseball Hall of Fame, founded in 1969, is seeking nominations for its 2010 induction class. Players, coaches, umpires, organizers and benefactors from all corners of the state who have achieved prominence in, or made valuable contributions to, baseball in Maine, will be considered.

Sea Dogs pitcher offering clinic
Portland Sea Dogs pitcher Ryne Lawson will present a pitching clinic Saturday, Nov. 21 at the Falmouth Middle School gym. The 8-12 year old session goes from 6 to 7 p.m. A 13-18 year old clinic runs from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. The cost is $20. FMI, 318-6056 or email@example.com.
Casco Bay Sports presents November Sports Leagues
Casco Bay Sports is offering several co-ed sports leagues this month. Sunday Evening Basketball is underway. Monday Night Bowling begins Nov. 16. Wednesday Dodgeball starts Nov. 18. Sunday Evening Indoor Soccer commences Nov. 22, as does Sunday Morning Floor Hockey. FMI, cascobaysports.com.
