The South Portland National Little League is holding baseball registration Feb. 6 (from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.), 24 (6 to 8 p.m.) and 27 (10 a.m. to 12 p.m.) at the Community Center. Day of Hockey fundraiser upcoming
"A Day of Hockey" to benefit the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital will be held Feb. 28 at the Cumberland County Civic Center. There will be youth games beginning at 7 a.m., a contest between the Southern Maine Law Enforcement All-Stars and the Portland Fire Department at 12 p.m. and a Portland Pirates vs. Albany River Rats contest at 4 p.m. The cost is $12. Scarborough hosting softball pitching clinic
The Southern New Hampshire University coaching staff and players will be at Scarborough High School Feb. 28 to conduct a free softball clinic for all Scarborough girls ages 8 to 12. There will be a $15 fee for non-residents. There will be a great deal of individual instruction. The event is sponsored by Scarborough Little League.
