SP softball team wins District 6 crown

The South Portland American Little League 11-12-year-old softball team recently captured the District 6 championship, going 4-0 in the tournament, winning the title game, 14-0, in five innings, over Westbrook. South Portland advanced to the six-team state tournament, which begins Friday in Biddeford.
