Arrests

7/16 at 1:24 a.m. Jeffrey L. Wormell, 31, of Old Orchard Beach, was arrested on Main Street by Officer Kevin Theriault on a charge of operating under the influence.

7/16 at 2:51 a.m. Abdoalmonim B. Kodi, 20, of Portland, was arrested on Broadway by Officer Brian McCarthy on charges of operating while license suspended, operating without a license and unlawful possession of a scheduled drug.

7/16 at 2:51 a.m. Reaksmey C. Tang, 19, of South Portland, was arrested on Broadway by Officer Jake Hall on charges of obstructing government administration, possession of alcohol by a minor, furnishing liquor to a minor and violating conditions of release.

7/16 at 2:51 p.m. Nuaruot P. Nguany, 18, of Portland, was arrested on Broadway by Officer Kevin Theriault on a warrant.

Don't just drive away

7/19/ at 3:38 p.m After a witness reported observing a blue Mazda carve through the parking lot of Maine Mall Plaza, hit a parked vehicle and continue driving, Officer Jeffrey Pooler went looking the hit-and-run car. When he found what he believed to be the offending vehicle, Pooler summonsed the driver, Allen McRae, 73, of Portland, on a charge of failure to notify operator of unattended vehicle of collision.
