Arrests

8/31 at 11:20 a.m. Douglas Butler, 41, of Harpswell, was arrested on Payne Road by Officer Garrett Strout on a charge of operating under the influence of drugs.

9/2 at 7:59 p.m. Jamie Coughlin, 35 , of Gorham, was arrested on Gallery Boulevard by Officer Melissa Savage on charges of unlawful possession of schedule W and schedule Z drugs.

9/3 at 2:17 p.m. Amanda Marchetti, 23, of Topsham, was arrested on Gallery Boulevard by Officer Andrew Flynn on two charges of violation of the conditions of release and two warrants for other agencies.

9/3 at 2:17 p.m. Michael Pelletier, 30, of Livermore Falls, was arrested on Gallery Boulevard by Officer Andrew Flynn on a charge of violating a protective order.

9/5 at 8:55 a.m. Anthony Ricci, 28, of South Portland, was arrested on Route 1 by Officer Garrett Strout on charges of operating when a license was suspended or revoked and violating bail conditions of release.

9/5 at 2:56 p.m. Jamey Dyer, 20, of Old Orchard Beach, was arrested on Route 1 by Officer Garrett Strout on charges of operating when a license was suspended or revoked and violating bail conditions of release.

8/30 at 5:54 a.m. Johnny Acosta, 37, of Bronx, N.Y., was summonsed on Pine Point Road by Officer Shawn Anastasoff on a charge of domestic violence assault.

9/1 at 10:24 a.m. Elizabeth Antone, 43, of Willowdale Road, Scarborough, was summonsed on Route 1 by Officer Andrew Flynn on a charge of operating when a license was suspended or revoked.

9/1 at 3:04 p.m. Geoffrey Hopwood, 32, of Cornish, was summonsed on Payne Road by Officer Andrew Flynn on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

9/3 at 12:34 p.m. Douglas Barbato, 42, of Mechanic Falls, was summonsed on Payne Road by Officer Garrett Strout on charges of operating when a license was suspended or revoked and failing to maintain vehicle insurance.

9/4 at 10:12 p.m. Drew Morse, 18, of Buxton, was summonsed on Holmes Road by Officer Scott Vaughan on a charge of assault.

9/5 at 1:49 a.m. Perry Allen, 41, of Biddeford, was summonsed on Route 1 by Officer Melissa Savage on a charge of operating when a license was suspended or revoked.

Keep right

8/31 at 11:12 a.m. A caller reported seeing a vehicle being driven erratically, then driving over a median and running over a "keep right" sign on Payne Road. The caller reportedly followed the vehicle into the Shaw's Supermarket parking lot, where he called police. After an investigation, police arrested Douglas Butler, 41, of Harpswell, on a charge of operating under the influence of drugs.

Real estate and pot for sale

8/31 at 2:27 p.m. Police responded to a call from a person who was looking at property for sale in Merrill Brook development and allegedly discovered marijuana plants growing in the woods on the property. Police collected 10 plants, some planted in the ground, others in pots. There are no suspects at this time.

Good Samaritan

9/1 at 12:13 p.m. Police received a call from a man who had accidentally left his wallet with $600 cash in it in a shopping cart at Shaw's Supermarket. The wallet was gone by the time he went back to look for it. Later that day, police received a call from another man who was trying to track the wallet owner down. Police put the two in touch and the good Samaritan returned the wallet and $600 cash.
