Arrests

12/30/10 at 3:19 a.m. Mark Thayer Russell, 23, of Sweet Fern Road, was arrested by Officer Andy Steindl on Scott Dyer Road on a charge of violating conditions of release.

Summons

12/30/10 at 7:46 p.m. Michael Valle, 44, of Portland, was issued a summons by Officer Eric Fay on Ocean House Road on a charge of operating under the influence.

12/30/10 a 17-year-old boy of Cape Elizabeth was issued a summons by Officer Jeffrey Gaudette on a charge of assault. 

Burglaries

12/30/10 A representative of a utilities company contacted police to report a theft of brass fittings from a fuel storage tank. 

12/30/10 A resident of the Broad Cove area contacted police to report a GPS unit and power cord were missing from their vehicle.

1/3 A resident of the Scott Dyer Road area reported a wallet, GPS unit and power cord were stolen from their motor vehicle.

Mail box mania

12/28/10 According to police a vehicle went off the road on Wainwright Drive due to snowy conditions and damaged a few resident mailboxes. Police spoke with the driver and he said he would contact the homeowners about restitution. The driver was not injured and the damages were minor.
