Veranda Street on-ramp shutdown extended

PORTLAND — The Veranda Street on-ramp to southbound Interstate 295, which was scheduled to reopen by Sept. 1, is now expected to be closed until early October.

The ramp is closed for safety reasons during bridge work and lane closures on I-295.

Alternate routes are the I-295 entrances at Washington Avenue in Portland and Bucknam Road (Exit 10) in Falmouth.
