Waynflete crew teams win state titles
Waynflete's boys' and girls' crew teams defeated Yarmouth to win the state championship Saturday. The top boys' boat finished in 4:18.53. The girls won with a time of 4:40.47.
New Casco Bay Sports offerings in June
Casco Bay Sports is offering a Wednesday night Twilight Flag Football league, beginning June 23, a Monday night soccer league, starting June 28, and a Tuesday night summer dodgeball league, beginning June 29. FMI, cascobaysports.com.

Maine Premier Lacrosse summer registration open

Waynflete cross country camp next month
The Waynflete cross country program, winners of the past three Class C girls' state championships, coached by Maine Running Hall of Famer Ziggy Gillespie, will be held from July 6 to 9, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Waynflete Athletic Fields. The camp is open to ages 10-18. The schedule includes proper nutrition, training schedules, race strategy, weight training and more. The fee is $175. FMI, 774-5721 or waynflete.org.
Cross country camp upcoming
The Acadian Running Camp, co-directed by Falmouth cross country and track coach Danny Paul and U. Maine's O.J. Logue, will be held July 25-28 in Bar Harbor for grades 8 through 13. Campers will take advantage of trails in Acadia and Bar Harbor. Cost is $200. FMI, acadianrunningcamp.com.
