5/14 at 11:07 p.m. Benjamin M. Carroll, 32, of Portland Street, was arrested on charges of operating under the influence, failure to apply for a Maine license within 30 days of residency, speeding 15-19 over the speed limit and evasion of registration fees and excise taxes.
5/15 at 7:32 p.m. Chad M. Meier, 34, of East Main Street, was arrested on charges of obstructing government administration and assault.

5/14 at 4:13 p.m. Police were notified of "possible Wiccan religious signs" in the woods by the railroad crossing on Sligo Road. Police report that children may have been involved.
5/15 at 6:47 p.m. Police were called to investigate a stolen purse at Royal River Park. The purse was later found in the caller's vehicle.
