Yarmouth Police Beat: Oct. 12
10/10 at 9:32 a.m. Christopher E. Spurr, 41, of Poland, was arrested by Officer Roger Moore on West Main and Bowdoin streets on charges of operating without a license and without valid inspection certificate.
10/11 at 7:35 a.m. Clifford H. Rideout, 52, of Vassalboro, was arrested by Officer Roger Moore on North Road and Melissa Drive on a charge of operating without a license.
10/5 at 9:25 p.m. Thomas A. Monat, 38, of Bayview Street, was issued a summons by Officer Micheal A. Vogel on Route 1 on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.
10/8 at 11:25 p.m. A 17-year-old boy of Yarmouth was issued a summons on Cumberland Street by Officer Joshua Robinson on charges of illegal transportation of drugs by a minor and sale and use of drug paraphernalia.
Do not drive or operate machinery
10/7 at 10:01 a.m. Residents along Spring Street contacted police to report a red truck driving erratically. Police caught up to the driver and found the man was driving while on medication. Police made sure he was physically alright and drove the man home.
Sultan on the trail
10/8 at 1:56 p.m. Yarmouth police brought Sultan the police canine to Freeport to track an alleged burglar, who reportedly fled when the break-in was interrupted by a homeowner on Pleasant Hill Road. The police canine was able to trace the scent to a location where a vehicle had been parked, but the car was gone by the time police arrived.

10/9 at 6:20 p.m. Police were called to report a loose dog that was terrorizing wedding guests at Camp Hammond on Main Street. The dog had a tag, so it was leashed and brought to the shelter in Brunswick.
10/6 at 3:46 p.m. Vehicle accident on I-295 South.
10/7 at 3:12 p.m. Alarm on Channel Point Road.
10/8 at 2:15 p.m. Unattended fire on Route 1.
10/8 at 4:52 p.m. Assist rescue on West Main Street.
10/10 at 8:28 p.m. Structure fire on Red Wagon Road.
There were 14 calls for emergency medical service from Oct. 5-11.
