Tim Thomas Hockey Camp next week

Current National Hockey League All-Star, USA Olympian, Vezina Trophy winner and Boston Bruin Tim Thomas will host a hockey camp July 26-30 at the Falmouth Family Ice Center. The camp is for forwards, defenders and goalies, boys and girls, ages 6 to 17. FMI, timthomashockey.com.

Greely football holding golf tournament

The first annual Cumberland/North Yarmouth Greely football golf tournament, with all proceeds benefitting the program, will be held Thursday, Aug. 12, at Toddy Brook in North Yarmouth. Cost is $100 per player or $400 per foursome. Players will have an opportunity to win a new Ford Mustang or Suzuki 4-wheeler with a hole-in-one. There will be other prizes and contests as well. Freeport Gridiron Club hosting road race

The Freeport Gridiron Club will host a Run With The Falcons 5K road race Sunday, Aug. 29, beginning at 8 a.m., at the Mast Landing School in Freeport.
