Baseball pitching clinic upcoming
Ryne Lawson of the Portland Sea Dogs and former Deering High standout Ryan Reid, now pitching in the Tampa Bay Rays organization, will instruct the basics of pitching Saturday, Jan. 23 in the Falmouth Middle School gym. SMCC hosting alumni basketball game

Maine Premier lacrosse registration open
Registration is open for the Maine Premier Indoor Lacrosse Sunday session II for boys, which begins Jan 3. The girls' session runs Tuesday afternoons beginning Jan. 5. Both programs feature college All-Americans, college and high school coaches, certified coaches, 15-minute skill development sessions and 1-hour game times with on-field coaching.
