February Fun Day upcoming
February Fun Day, to benefit the Maine Adaptive Skate Program and the Falmouth High girls' ice hockey program, will be held Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Family Ice Center. There will be indoor ice skating and other activities. Cost is $8.

Day of Hockey fundraiser upcoming
"A Day of Hockey" to benefit the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital will be held Feb. 28 at the Cumberland County Civic Center. There will be youth games beginning at 7 a.m., a contest between the Southern Maine Law Enforcement All-Stars and the Portland Fire Department at 12 p.m. and a Portland Pirates vs. Albany River Rats contest at 4 p.m. The cost is $12. Waynflete seeking varsity crew assistant
Waynflete School needs a varsity crew assistant coach for the upcoming spring season. Practices begin in mid-March and the season concludes at the end of May. Experience rowing and/or coaching is required. Boat maintenance and trailering experience is a plus.
