Local volleyball players win crown

On August 11, the season-ending single elimination tournament for the 2010 Summer High School Girls Beach Volleyball League was held at Gray Recreation Department – Newbegin and was won by Yarmouth's Abbie Hutchinson (left0 and Falmouth's Sarah Collmus.. The 23 team league consisting of two- or three-girl teams from southern Maine played matches all summer culminating in the season ending 16-team tournament.
