YMCA Stripers win age group

The Casco Bay YMCA Stripers 8-and-under girls' team won their age group in the recent season-ending state championships. The boys' 14-and-under squad was second in its division. Overall, the Stripers placed ninth out of 16 entrants. New team records were set by Abby Belisle-Haley (girls' 13-14 50- and 100-yard butterfly), Amelia Deady (girls' 13-14 50 and 200 free) and Emelia Von Saltza (girls' 13-14 50 and 100 backstroke) and the girls' 13-14 200 medley (Von Saltza, Belisle-Haley, Eliza Lunt, Clara Bosco) and girls' 13-14 free (Deady, Brianna Webber, Haley Estabrook and Bosco) relays.
