Former Yarmouth standout wraps up college career

Former Yarmouth High girls' basketball standout Meredith Shaw recently finished her college career at Emmanuel College in Boston. Shaw (cutting down the nets after winning the conference title), a 6-foot-2 center, averaged 4.4 points and 3.2 rebounds a game as the Saints made it to the NCAA tournament, Emmanuel lost to Babson in the first round. Shaw spent her freshman year at Keene State College, then transferred to Emmanuel. Each of her teams made it to the NCAAs and Shaw, a communications major, also traveled to China with the Saints.
