Letter: Woodbury for state Senate

We are writing to share our enthusiastic support of Dick Woodbury as an independent for Maine Senate District 11.  As a career economist, Dick has the skills to lead Maine through the economic challenges we currently face toward a more vibrant and sustainable future.  He has the experience, having served as a three-term state representative.

During his time in Augusta, Dick developed a solid track record for being an independent thinker and strong leader who worked collaboratively to find creative solutions to some of the most challenging problems affecting Maine citizens.  More importantly, though, Dick is passionate about and has a real desire to preserve and enhance Maine's quality of life.

We have known Dick and his family for over 10 years and we know how much he cares for our community and the people who live here.  But don’t take our word for it – find out for yourselves.  Dick is eager to meet you to learn more about the issues that are important to you and your families. He is interested in knowing your concerns as well as your ideas for how to transform Maine’s political landscape.  Take a moment to talk to Dick about what’s on your mind and in your heart.

Once you do, we’re sure you’ll agree that he is the best candidate to represent Falmouth, Cumberland, Gray, North Yarmouth, Yarmouth, Chebeague and Long Island in the Senate.
