Letter: Perfetti, Moriarty in Cumberland

Voting for Michael Perfetti for a second term on the Cumberland Town Council is a vote for collaborative governance that is often missing in town politics.

I have known Mike for 10 years. We served together on a town-wide effort to secure land, raise funds and qualify Cumberland workforce families for two Habitat for Humanity homes in Cumberland. His dedication to this project and his tireless energy was invaluable. I have also known him as a devoted family member, an essential part of a family-owned business, and as an active community member. Mike brings energy, a commitment to community service, a strong work ethic and the ability to bring about consensus over contentious issues.

I strongly recommend Mike Perfetti and urge you to support him with one of your two votes for Cumberland Town Council. Steve Moriarty, a longtime Cumberland resident and valuable asset to the council, is also running for re-election and deserves your second vote. We, in Cumberland, are fortunate to have these two highly qualified, dedicated and effective counselors.
