Letter: Gruber in House District 108

I have had the privilege of knowing Tom Gruber for over 20 years. We served together in the Army Reserves and were both activated during Operation Desert Storm. Tom was an exemplary officer during those years. He was best known for his organizational skills as well as his ability to complete tasks in a timely manner. For years, serving as a major, Tom was the one you could most rely upon.

Tom has always been a very likeable and very approachable individual. When I first joined the Army Reserves, Tom and I quickly became good friends as he willingly took me under his wing. He even helped me improve my golf game, which was no easy task. To this day, we have maintained a good friendship.

I support the characteristics that embody Tom Gruber. He is unquestionably a reliable and competent worker who rose to the highest levels while employed at Mercy Hospital. His unwavering commitment to hard work would make him the ideal candidate to represent his constituency of House District 108. Tom understands the challenges that we all face as we begin to recover from these difficult economic times. His position on taxes and job creation are sound and I firmly believe, given the opportunity, Tom Gruber can make the difference in our community and our state. This is why I and many of my colleagues have chosen to support Tom Gruber for state representative.
