Letter: Yarmouth police officer will be missed

Yarmouth is losing a wonderful asset as Police Officer Charles Perkins retires to Florida this month. Perkins is a man of great integrity, a true professional who always used his authority with even-handedness and compassion. He always listened. He handled the quirks of this little town with deep respect, all the while maintaining his great sense of humor.

We’ll miss you Charlie.
