Arrests

7/4 at 10:03 p.m. Brian Scott Jewett, 30, of Pownal, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct. 

7/6 at 4:13 p.m. Jason A. Najim, 28, of Brunswick, was arrested on a charge of operating after habitual offender.

7/8 at 1:18 p.m. Stevenson R. Cushing, 19, of Durham, was arrested on a warrant from Freeport Police Department on a charge of failure to pay fine.

7/9 at 11:21 p.m. Leonard Lee Merrill, 53, of Auburn, was arrested on charges of operating under the influence and operating a vehicle without a license.

Summonses

7/4 at 8:58 p.m. A 13-year-old boy from Lewiston from was summonsed on a charge of criminal mischief. 

7/5 at 10:23 p.m. Benjamin Rutkowski, 27, of Freeport, was summonsed on a charge of operating under the influence.

No U-turn

7/3 at 1:53 p.m. A resident of Estes Drive called police to report vandalism to their property. Apparently, a vehicle turned around on the lawn, causing about $100 in damage.

No place for a rest

7/4 at 7:34 p.m. Police were notified of a young person sitting in the road by Pownal and Murch roads. By the time police arrived, the person was gone and could not be located.
