Restaurants close in Falmouth

FALMOUTH — Two local restaurants have closed their doors.

Johnny's Bistro & Bar on Route 1 has been sold to Hug's Italian Cuisine. The new restaurant will be opening there soon, according to the Johnny's Bistro website, and will honor all Johnny's gift certificates for its first year of operation.

Maine Roasters Coffee has also closed on Route 1, although the Maine Roasters at 305 Route 1 in Yarmouth remains open.
