Arrests

1/19 at 11:15 a.m. Richard T. Towle-Whitten, 36, of Pearl Street, Portland, was arrested on Blackstrap Road by Officer Steven Townsend on a charge of possession of hypodermic apparatuses.

1/19 at 11:15 a.m. Eric Merrill, 26, of Ocean Park, Saco, was arrested on Blackstrap Road by Officer Steven Townsend on a warrant.

Summonses

12/30 at 2:18 a.m. Katie Starkey, 26, of Middle Road, was issued a summons on Foreside Road by Officer Kurt Fegan on a charge of operating under the influence.

1/17 at 10:17 a.m. Zowie Davis, 35, of New Gloucester, was issued a summons on Route 1 by Officer Phillip Hatch on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

1/20 at 7:18 a.m. Kimberly A. Benton, 23, of Haskell Road, North Yarmouth, was issued a summons on Gray Road by Officer Jeffrey Pardue on a charge of operating with a suspended registration.

Left out in the cold

1/16 at 11:49 p.m. An employee of the Irving Little Mart called police to report that she had gone out to start her car before leaving for the night and left her purse in the car. A few minutes later when she returned, her purse and iPod were reportedly missing. Police are investigating the alleged theft.

Jack jacked

1/18 at 3:38 p.m. An employee of Foreside Antiques called police to report the theft of a wrought iron table, two chairs and an orange floor jack from the front of the store. The items were reportedly left outside. There was no forced entry to the building reported.

1/17 at 12:09 p.m. Motor vehicle accident on Blackstrap Road.

1/17 at 4:41 p.m. Chimney fire on Abby Lane, Yarmouth.

1/17 at 5:18 p.m. Fire alarm on Hammond Road.

1/21 at 2:54 a.m. Single engine fire on Applegate Lane.

1/21 at 4:12 p.m. Mutual aid to Cumberland.
