Arrests

No arrests were reported from Sept. 24 to Oct. 1.

Summonses

8/24 at 12:25 p.m. Amber Reynolds, 30, of South Portland, was issued a summons at the Irving Lil'Mart by Officer Kurt Fegan on a charge of theft by receiving stolen property.

Glock and load

9/27 at 11:11 a.m. A clerk at the Irving Lil'Mart on Route 1 called police after reportedly walking into the restroom and discovering a gun on the windowsill. Upon arrival, police identified the gun as a Glock .40 caliber handgun. It was reportedly fully-loaded with one bullet in the chamber.

After watching the gas station's security tapes, police allegedly identified an employee of Garda Cash Logistics, a armored car company, who walked into the bathroom approximately one hour before the clerk discovered the gun. The armored car employee reportedly returned to the gas station after realizing his mistake, and was taken to the police station to prove ownership of the weapon. He reportedly told police he had taken the gun out of its holster when using the restroom, then forgotten to put it back after washing his hands. No charges were filed against him or the company.
