Falmouth Police Beat: July 14
7/7 at 8:42 p.m. Jessica Parker, 22, of Prince Street, Cumberland, was arrested by Officer Cheryl Dupuis on a warrant.
There were no summonses during the period reported.
7/5 at 9:39 a.m. A Winn Road resident called police to report two Rottweilers had run at her and made threatening moves.
Bitter bicyclist retaliates with rocks
7/5 at 10:20 a.m. A man witnessed a bicyclist throwing rocks at his vehicle, which was parked in the bike lane along Route 1. As the bicyclist took off, the man got into his car and followed him down the street and onto Veranda Street in Portland, where he lost sight of him. Police were unable to locate the bicyclist. According to police, it is not illegal to park in a bike lane, though it is not encouraged.
On the pier with some beer
7/8 at 11:23 p.m. Officers discovered seven teens and young adults sitting on the pier at Town Landing, drinking beer and throwing the cans into the water. Several of the group were underage and will be receiving summonses. All were issued criminal trespassing notices.
