Falmouth Police Beat: June 30
6/21 at 7:17 p.m. Donna Spencer, 50, of Woodlands Drive, Falmouth, was arrested by Officer Kevin Conger and charged with assault.
6/21 at 1:28 p.m. Tyler Mason, 21, of Providence Avenue, Falmouth, was issued a summons by Officer George Savidge on charges of assault and obstructing report of a crime or injury.
6/21 at 6:42 p.m. Police received a report that two men, dressed in hooded sweatshirts, snatched two 30-packs of Bud Light beer, located near the entrance of the Irving Station on Gray Road. They ran out of the store and fled in a car.
6/22 at 4:56 p.m. A man called police to report vandalism to the family's plot at Evergreen Cemetery. According to police, the man complained that his deceased wife's family had dug a border around the wife's marker and planted flowers, despite him asking them not to. The responding officer advised the man it was a civil, not a criminal, matter.
Nabbed cans and ran
6/24 at 3:20 p.m. A caller reported seeing two young boys allegedly running away with bags of returnables they'd stolen from the bin of the recycling center at Hannaford Supermarket on Gray Road. When police investigated they also discovered the door had been kicked in. Officers found the boys' bicycles and bottles, which they had ditched before fleeing the police on foot. Eventually they caught one of the boys in the woods; police will be charging him with theft.
