The road to learning

Maine Department of Transportation workers on Monday posted signs directing travelers on Interstate 295 to the new University of Maine Regional Learning Center at Tidewater Farm in Falmouth, which is scheduled to open the first week of May. Once completed the center will be the home of UMaine's southern Maine admissions office, cooperative extension office, development and fundraising office, and the non-profit UMaine Foundation, as well as an education center with a demonstration garden and instructional classrooms. A grand opening is scheduled for May 14.
