Arrests

4/30 at 12:49 a.m. Lucas Strout, 18, of Portland Road, Gray, was arrested on Dutton Hill by Officer Christopher Woodcock on a charge of operating under the influence.

5/3 at 12:26 a.m. Matthew Rousseau, 38, of Springwood Road, South Portland, was arrested on Gray Road by Officer Christopher Woodcock on charges of operating under the influence, driving to endanger, speeding 30 mph or more over the speed limit, failing to stop for an officer and refusing to submit to arrest.

Summonses

4/30 at 12:49 a.m. Corey Dickson, 18, of Center Road, Gray, was summonsed on Dutton Hill by Officer Christopher Woodcock on charges of violating conditions of release and minor possession of alcohol.

5/2 at 12:31 a.m. Srdjan Simic, 21, of East Commonwealth Drive, Portland, was summonsed on Gray Road by Officer Christopher Woodcock on a charge of operating under the influence.

Who let the cows out?

4/23 at 11 a.m. A caller reported that a calf was loose in the roadway near the intersection of Orchard Road and Daffodil Lane. The caller suggested the calf might belong to Fisher Farm, and that the calf had returned home. Later in the afternoon, at about 3 p.m., a caller on Orchard Road reported that a steer was loose in the roadway. Shortly afterward, the caller advised that the steer had been put back into its fenced-in area by two young boys, and that there was no need to respond.

Can I keep it?

4/24 A Foreside Road, Yarmouth resident called around 11 a.m. to report that he'd found a German shorthaired pointer running along Blanchard Road, and that he'd taken it home with him to Yarmouth. Police said they would try to make contact with the owner, and the caller said he would hold on to the dog until the owner called back.

4/27 A little after 6 p.m., a caller reported that someone from the census bureau had come to his house, and that he wanted to speak to an officer about it.
