GHS April fools?

4/1 On April Fool's Day, a 9-1-1 hang-up call originated from a Greely High School phone number. The phone call occurred at about 7:30 a.m., and police determined that everything was okay at the school. Just over an hour later, at 8:43 a.m., police issued warnings to a 16-year-old girl and 15-year-old boy for reporting a false fire and causing a false public alarm. Tuesday, a second 9-1-1 hangup call came from the high school. Police checked with the front office, which couldn't explain why 9-1-1 was called and reported that everything was fine.

Junk, not junkies

4/1 Police received a call mid-afternoon from a Range Road resident wanting to talk to police after finding a bunch of syringes and a yellow bag on the side of the road across from her house. Police responded, collected the items, and determined that it appears a diabetic person may have lost or left their trash. Items were disposed of properly at the rescue station.

Bring soap

He'd been parked in the area for about 40 minutes, the caller said, and parents picking up their children were concerned. Police responded and spoke to the man.

Vanishing act

Not Willard Beach

4/4 A caller requested that officers respond to the baseball field at Twin Brook to have the canine training class leave, saying it's against town policy to have dogs in the park.
