Topsham library announces art winners
Feb 05, 2010 12:00 am
TOPSHAM — The Topsham Library Board of Trustees and the Friends of Topsham Public Library have announced the second annual Joy of Art winners.
They include Ed McCartan for oil; Will Wilkoff for watercolor; Lois Goldstone for pastel; Harriet Lindemann for mixed media and Judith Long, other media.
Prizes were presented Jan. 16. Stacey MacKenzie and Mike Vissers, owners of Tim Horton's in Topsham and Brunswick, provided $25 cash prizes for the winners. An extra prize, a People’s Choice award, will be awarded Feb. 13 at the Friends of the Library’s Library Lovers Lottery. Community members can stop by any time until Feb. 6 to vote for that award.
The Joy of Art exhibit runs through Feb. 13 during regular hours at the 25 Foreside Road library.
