Senior citizens will be able to get into the fair Tuesday for $3. Also that day, the midway and grandstand museum will open at noon and a bean supper will be held at 5 p.m.

The popular demolition derby will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Saturday. The Red Neck Truck Pull will take place at 6:30 p.m. Friday. Fireworks will blast off at 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, with a rain date the following night. The Hell Drivers stunt-car show should get pulses racing at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14.

The Frog Guy will be back to entertain children with his bullfrogs Tuesday through Sunday. Kids can also enjoy Laser Tag, which opens at noon on Tuesday and runs throughout the week.

Leon Brillant, who has been involved with the fair for nearly 40 years and is president of its board of directors, said Monday that more volunteer help is always appreciated. Those interested in lending a hand this year or for future events should call the fairgrounds' exhibition hall, 729-1943.
