RipTide tryouts upcoming

U-14, U-16 and U-18 tryouts for the 2011 RipTide ASA softball season will be held Saturday, Sept. 11 and Sunday, Sept. 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Greely Road Field in Cumberland. Registration fee is $300 for the five-tournament schedule.

NYA coaching openings

North Yarmouth Academy is seeking a middle school boys' basketball, Nordic ski coach and an upper school swimming coach for the winter season. FMI, 846-9051 or nya.org.

Greely coaching openings

SAD 51 has several winter coaching openings. At Greely Middle School, co-ed Alpine ski and indoor track coaches are sought. At Greely High, there are openings for a girls' ice hockey head coach and assistant coach, as well as a swimming co-ed assistant coach and a co-ed Nordic ski varsity coach.
