Bath YMCA Halloween Run taking registration

Registration is now open for the Bath Area Family YMCA's Long Reach 5K Pumpkin Run, to be held Saturday at 9 a.m. Pre-registration cost is $15. Day-of is $20. There will also be a kids' 1-mile fun run, beginning at 8:15 a.m. The cost is $5. Proceeds benefit the YMCA. FMI, 443-4412 or bathymca.org.

Kathadin field hockey club holding tryouts

Portland Pirates hosting Breast Cancer Awareness Night

The Portland Pirates will host their second annual Breast Cancer Awareness Night when they meet the Lowell Devils Friday at 7 p.m. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the rink and join the Pirates in supporting those affected by breast cancer. Sea Dogs pitcher offering clinic

Portland Sea Dogs pitcher Ryne Lawson will present a pitching clinic Saturday, Nov. 21 at the Falmouth Middle School gym. The 8-12 year old session goes from 6 to 7 p.m. A 13-18 year old clinic runs from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. The cost is $20. FMI, 318-6056 or matthew.rogers@ubs.com.
