Knights of Columbus sponsoring soccer challenge
The Knights of Columbus Bath Council is sponsoring a soccer challenge for boys and girls ages 10 to 14, Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Legion Field on Congress Ave. in Bath. FMI, 443-9196.
BIW hockey team facing Montreal Canadiens alumni
The Bath Iron Works hockey team, IRONCLAD, will play the Montreal Canadiens alumni 2 p.m. on Oct. 11 at the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland in a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity. Sailing regatta/fundraiser upcoming
SailMaine is hosting its second annual Leafer's Last Leg regatta/SailMaine Soiree silent auction fundraiser Saturday, Oct. 17. Dozens of local high school sailors and seasoned sailing veterans will square off on courses outside Portland Harbor. Bath YMCA Halloween Run taking registration
is now open for the Bath Area Family YMCA's Long Reach 5K Pumpkin Run,
to be held Oct. 31 at 9 a.m. Pre-registration cost is $15. Day-of is
$20. There will also be a kids' 1-mile fun run, beginning at 8:15 a.m.
