Bowdoin RoboCup team takes second in world championship

The Bowdoin Northern Bites' RoboCup team took second place in the 2009 RoboCup World Championship games held in Graz, Austria. The Northern Bites team pictured from left is; Tucker Hermans, Andrew Lawrence, Elise Krob, Jack Morrison, team advisor Eric Chown, and Joho Strom. Team advisor Chown was also named the organizing committee chairman for next year's world competition to be held in Singapore.

TOPSHAM - David Thomas, a tenth grader from Bowdoin, was named the June Student of the Month at Mt. Ararat High School.

Thomas was also recognized as a student with perfect attendance, with no days or periods missed during the entire 2008-2009 school year.
