2/13 at 12:12 a.m. \ According to police reports, an 52-year-old man was walking near Federal Street when he was approached by a younger individual. The younger man, Steven R. Pierce, 22, of 658 Washington St. Apt. B, Bath, allegedly asked the older man if he knew "Curt". After the older man said no, he was allegedly assaulted by Pierce. Pierce was later arrested on charges of simple assault and possession of schedule X drugs (mushrooms). The older man was treated for minor injuries at Parkview Adventist Hospital.

2/16 at 1:56 a.m. \ An officer patrolling near Middle Street noticed a flickering light inside a parked vehicle near the Curtis Memorial Library. The officer later stopped the car and arrested its driver, Eric B. Grover, 21, of 35 Merganser Lane, Topsham, on charges of operating under the influence. Police say the passenger, a 17-year-old, was holding a pipe packed with marijuana. The juvenile was arrested on charges of possession or sale of drug paraphernalia and possession of a usable amount of marijuana.
