Schuyler L. Merry, 60: BIW machinist for more than 32 years

BRUNSWICK — Schuyler L. Merry, 60, died April 6.

He was born in Wiscasset, May 19, 1948, the son of Bernard A. and Edith R. (Sprague) Merry.

In 1967, he graduated from Wiscasset High School.

For more than 32 years, he worked at Bath Iron Works as a machinist, retiring in 2006 for health reasons.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time at Moxie Lake.

He was predeceased by his wife Beverly Crooker Merry on Sept. 28, 1999.

Surviving are three step-children; sisters Grace Merry of Augusta, Edna Warner, Anna Merry and Patricia Hill, all of Brunswick; several grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

At his request, there will be no services.

Arrangements are by Stetson's Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick.
