Friday night fights

3/27 at 11:02 p.m. Police received a series of calls from multiple residents on Bay Bridge Road about loud music and speeding and suspicious vehicles. Officers responded to each call, but no charges were filed. Police believe the activity is the result of a conflict among neighbors.

Crash and learn

3/28 at 10:40 p.m. Topsham police notified Brunswick officers that a van registered to a Brunswick man had crashed on the Topsham side of the Black Bridge. The van, which was sideways on the one-lane bridge, had been abandoned, but Topsham officers soon discovered the driver's whereabouts. Topsham and Brunswick officers later found Scott A. Henson II, 19, of 18 Minat Ave., on Cushnoc Lane. After Henson was summonsed on charges of leaving the scene of a property damage accident and operating with a suspended license, he allegedly became verbally abusive with the departing officers. After allegedly failing to heed warnings, Henson was arrested by Brunswick police on charges of disorderly conduct and possession of a suspended license.
