Bath Police Beat: April 14
4/7 at 3:14 p.m. Richard Johnson, 30, of Oak Street, was arrested by Officer Keith Jensen on a warrant and on a charge of aggravated trafficking of a scheduled drug.
4/8 at 3:15 a.m. Matthew Belanger, 28, of Front Street, was arrested by Sgt. Mike Lathrop on a charge of disorderly conduct.
4/10 at 11:10 p.m. Coty Ponziani, 22, of Prospect Lane, Woolwich, was arrested by Officer Ted Raedel on a charge of violation of condition of release and issued a summons on a charge of possession of a usable amount of marijuana.
4/11 at 1:23 a.m. Juanita Hawke, 39, of Chestnut Street, was arrested by Officer Ted Raedel on a charge of operating under the influence.
4/5 A 12-year-old was issued a summons by Officer Richard Ross on a charge of assault.
4/5 A 17-year-old was issued a summons by Officer Richard Ross on a charge of possession of a tobacco product.
4/7 Two juveniles were issued summonses by Officer Keith Jensen on charges of possession of tobacco by a juvenile.
4/9 Robert Berry, 38, of Elm Street, Damariscotta, was issued a summons by Officer Michelle Small on a charge of negotiating a worthless instrument.
4/9 Michael Smith, 48, of Middle Street, was issued a summons by Officer Jason Aucoin on charges of furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful use or possession of inhalants.
Police look for burglary suspect
Bath Police are looking for help in locating Christopher Barter, 29, formerly of 736 Middle St. He has an outstanding warrant for burglary, theft and criminal mischief. On March 2 police responded to the report of a burglary at two businesses at 832 Washington St. Police say they recovered evidence such as DNA from the scene that pointed to Barter, who is currently on probation for theft-related charges and has a lengthy criminal history including numerous burglary and theft convictions. People with information on his whereabouts are asked to call the investigative division at 443-8367.
